GOOD LIFE FLAVORS OF FORTUNE LUNAR NEW YEAR 2017 FOOD TRIP

GOOD LIFE CELEBRATES JOYFUL TRADITIONS IN 2-DAY ‘FLAVORS OF FORTUNE’ CHINESE NEW YEAR GRAND FOOD FEST

A Chinese New Year celebration calls for a feast and that’s exactly what Isaac and I got during the Good Life Flavors of Fortune Food Trip. Good Life is a food brand we frequently buy from for our cooking needs so I anticipated a delicious food affair from the Good Life celebration. True enough, it a was a day of good food from a brand that delivered a message of “Good taste good life.”

DEAR DREAMERS
To usher in the Year of the Fire Rooster, an auspicious celebration filled with colorful and lavish festivities was held during the grand festival by Good Life, one of the leading Asian food brand. The festival was held at the Robinsons Place Manila Midtown Atrium on Junuary 27 and January 28, 2017.

”GOOD LIFE AIMS FOR A HOLISTIC FESTIVITY THAT PROMOTES A FORTUNE-FILLED LIFE, WHICH INCLUDES THE FUSION OF GOOD FOOD, GOOD RELATIONSHIPS AND A GOOD DISPOSITION IN LIFE. WE WANT TO JOYFULLY SHARE WITH THE REST OF THE FILIPINOS THE BEST OF CHINESE CUISINE THROUGH OUR ASIAN FOOD LINE GOOD LIFE,” SAYS FLY ACE CORPORATION GENERAL MANAGER RAMON DAEZ.

Good Life - Flavors of Fortune centers on sharing joyful moments with family and friends sharing good food. The celebration is open to everyone who loves authentic Chinese cuisine and those who wish to bring in harmony, positive vibes, and prosperity in their lives this 2017.

PASSPORT
Purchasing any Good Life product/s worth P90 at the registration booth entitled mall-goers to a Good Life passport which allowed them to partake in the Good Life Chinoy Activity Strip, the Chinoy Food Strip, fortune telling and more.

The Chinoy Dish Showdown, a live cooking showdown, was held to highlight modern Chinese-FIlipino dishes. Eurotel emerged as the victor among other culinary competitors namely Hotel Kimberly, City Garden Hotel, Lotus Garden Hotel, Bayview Park Hotel, Amelie Hotel and Best Western Hotel, which are some of Manila’s finest hotels.

Apart from the culinary showdown, a dragon and lion dance, cooking demos, raffle draws, cultural performance from Chiang Kai Shek College, Feng Shui Talk by Master Hanz Cua and Feng Shui Talk by Naneth Guinto was also held during the two-day festivities.

Bayview Park Hotel won the Lucky Dish award with their Hot and Spicy Vermicelli with Egg Surprise dish.

Learning Chinese crafts were also part of the celebration. We got to embrace our inner artistic self with their lantern-making activities, Chinese calligraphy and paper cutting. Isaac had to trace a monkey, cut the pattern and paste the monkey pattern to create his monkey artwork.

Our passports also entitled us to pick one ampao of our choosing in the prosperity tree. Isaac got a red clip while I got the best prize, a super cute Good Life bread crumbs pillow which looks like the real deal.
