SENYOR JUAN SUMAN LATIK REVIEW
Steamed in pandan leaves,suman is a Filipino delicacy consisting of sticky rice steamed in banana leaves. Commonly sold by street food vendors, suman has been one of my favorite Filipino street food dessert. I used to eat it as it is but Senyor Juan has shown me new ways to enjoy one of my favorite Filipino dessert.

First up is their classic suman latik. Latik is muscovado sugar, budbud is dried coconut pulp and malagkit is sticky rice. These three components make up for suman latik, each having their own health benefits.
SUMAN LATIK ESPESYAL P69
Senyor Juan has come up with different suman latik espesyal flavors, all which can be bought for P69 each. Leche Flan, Ube Macapuno and Mango are three of the Suman Latik Espesyal flavors, all of which stay true to the taste of Pinoy desserts.
ESPESYAL LECHE FLAN SUMAN LATIK
When I saw the luscious leche flan being topped on the suman latik, I knew I could not resist taking a bite because leche flan just happens to be my all-time favorite Filipino dessert.
ESPESYAL UBE MACAPUNO SUMAN LATIK
Ube Macapuno on suman latik sounded heavenly, ube lovers will definitely enjoy this one.
ESPESYAL MANGGA SUMAN LATIK
Mango is my favorite fruit, it was also one of my pregnancy cravings. This would have been perfect if it was a little sweeter, it was more on the sour side.

They had me hooked on their freshly made mangosteen dalandan honey juice. It was refreshing and energizing, especially since it was really hot that day.
VERDICT
Delicious and nutritious, their suman latik espesyal is addictive. I find myself craving their ube macapuno suman latik and leche flan suman latik. Their latik sauce is generously poured over their classic suman latik which is great because their sauce is what makes their classic suman latik delicious.
TAKE-OUT
Their Senyora (6 pieces) and Senyor (12 pieces) boxes make an excellent treat for the whole family.to enjoy at home.
