HEAT STROKE GRILL REVIEW

Dear Dreamers
Serving delicious grilled food, this stall was founded by four nurses so you won’t have to worry if you get a “heat stroke” from all the grilled goodness. Recently opening their second branch, Heat Stroke Grill was named that way as they originally planned to make a Korean stall and aimed to feature the way Koreans grilled their food in a stroking manner.

What sets this food park stall apart from the rest is their delicious scallops and pork belly binagoongan. Groups would love to share a platter too, which will leave you with a full tummy for a low price!

GRILLED SCALLOPS (5 PCS) P160
Their scrumptious scallops were one of my favorites. Sweet and buttery, the scallops came with garlic and sweet soy sauce that made us wanting for more.

HSG SALAD WITH GRILLED CHICKEN P200
Their grilled chicken & salad had lettuce that was lightly sweet but what I really liked was that it had cheese. The vinaigrette needed a little more zest but overall, it was good.

GRILLED PORK BELLY BINAGOONGAN A LA CARTE P160
Ever tried bagoong on pork belly? If not, then you should! Their grilled pork belly binagoongan was really delicious and it was fairly uncommon. Both Isaac and I agree that it was their most delicious dish. The pork belly was scrumptious in itself but the bagoong makes it a flavorful dish, addictive some would say.

CHICKEN KEBAB A LA CARTE P160
Their kebab was okay, it came with delicious sauces but it needed more spices considering how kebabs are.

HSG ALL-IN PLATTER P1,000
For groups, their platter is affordable and can feed 4 to 6 people depending on how much rice you eat. It came with one bowl of annatto rice and one bowl of spicy rice. It had grilled corn, pork ribs, HSG chicken and pork belly. This platter came with generous serving that will not leave you hanging or at least Isaac was beyond satisfied with this platter despite being a heavy eater.
