Althea Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser Review

DEAR DREAMERS
The name Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser is certainly a mouthful but it certainly delivers the as the name suggests. Utilizing mild plant-based oils, it removes impurities from the skin. With a pH level of 5.5-6.5, it balances the pH level of the skin to prevent unwanted moisture loss and dehydration. It's a gentle cleanser that is perfect for sensitive skin.

Features
To help the skin stay cool and hydrated, it utilizes a dual moisture cell system which is a combination of water and oil in overlapping layers.

KEY INGREDIENTS
The mint leaf extracts cool down the skin while soothing irritations. With a structure similar to the natural skin's structure, the jojoba seed oil allows effective makeup removal and pore purification. The jojoba seed oil also deeply moisturizes the skin without leaving a heavy feeling. Utilizing its antibacterial properties, the tea tree leaf extract purifies the skin.

How to Use
As a cleanser, dampen the skin and apply a small amount onto it. Gently massage the skin for 5-10 seconds before rinsing off with water. As a makeup remover, generously soak the cotton pad with the cleanser and wipe off the makeup from your skin.

BEFORE AND AFTER

Look closely on the before and after photo and you'll find that all the dirt from the skin disappeared. Cleaning the pores regularly minimizes the appearance of large pores.

Review
Consistency-wise, the cleanser really was like a serum. The closes cleanser it comes to in terms of consistency is a cleansing oil but they don't work the same way. A cleansing oil leaves some oil on the skin which is the natural oil of your face. The Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser leaves nothing but a clean skin.

It's gentle on the skin and does not dry the skin, it also left my skin cool to the touch. It left my face really clean and when I used my Jumiso Drop The Vita C Serum after cleansing, I could feel the heat sensation even more. Heat is generated when pure vitamins are absorbed into the skin, meaning that because the cleanser effectively removed dirt from my skin, my skin was able to effectively absorb the serum even more. Thanks to the cleanser, nothing was between my skin and the expensive stuff (the serum). Like I said, I usually use a cleansing oil so there is always a bit of oil left on my skin when I use a cleansing oil.

Swipe Test
I did a swipe test and one swipe is all it took to remove most of the makeup I swatched on my arm. It was the mascara and the liquid eyeliner that needed more swipes but as you can see, the Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser was able to remove all of the makeup with just a few swipes

Routine
I prefer using the Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser at night and a cleansing oil at morning. Simply because I don't need to deep cleanse in the morning but at night, there will be a day's worth of accumulated dirt from pollution as well as makeup.
