Php 5 and Php10 All-Natural Skincare and Makeup Skin Genie Review and Swatches
I've heard about Skin Genie before, I'm not sure where though but it sounded really familiar. It's my first time trying their products and I'll be sharing with you my thoughts on the products that I bought.

Description: The carbonation causes the mask to foam up with bubbles which help unclog pores, exfoliate dead skin cells and deliver nutrients deep into the skin.
Key Ingredients: French pink clay, green tea extracts, collagen, charcoal powder, lavender extracts, peppermint leaf extracts, and chamomile flower extracts.
Review: The smell of the bubble mask is not as fragrant as I expected but the smell is not bad either. It's a bit ticklish on the skin because it turns into foam. It's definitely fun to use.

Expiry: Sep 2020
Description: Made up of smaller molecules, this serum deeply penetrates the skin to deliver a very high concentration of active ingredients. This serum unclogs the pores, minimizes the appearance of pores, promotes even skin tone, and reduces the appearance of dark spots and acne marks.
Key Ingredients: Virgin coconut oil, apple cider vinegar, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, tomato extract, aloe vera extract, chamomile extract, chamomile essential oil, strawberry essential oil, and hyaluronic acid.
Review: I was expecting something a bit more viscous since it was a serum. Unlike other serums, this serum is more liquidy so if you prefer that then you'll like this serum. It's not sticky at all and it doesn't leave the skin with a shiny finish.

Description: This lip oil heals, moisturizes, hydrates and plumps up the lips. It smoothens chapped lips while helping to heal the cracks to prevent further chapping. It stimulates the capillaries that improve circulation, bringing more blood to the surface of the lips, causing the lips to look plumper.
Key Ingredients: Castor oil, virgin coconut oil, peppermint, and cinnamon.
Review: The main reason why I got a lot of this lip oil was that it looked so pretty. The glitters are said to be edible glitters, it also has semi-precious crystals. It does the job well too, it leaves the lips moisturized.

Description: Relaxes tense muscles and frayed nerves, this eye roller works long term to hydrate and smoothen the skin around the eyes. It reduces lines, helps with puffiness and dark circles, hydrates, and keeps the skin supple.
Key Ingredients: Barberry extract, cucumber extract, witch hazel extract, ginger extract, fruit acids, botanical collagen, vegetable placenta, seaweed extract, hyaluronic acid, Vitamin A, freesia essential oil, and peach essential oil.
Review: I'm not exactly a fan of eye rollers because I feel like my finger is more gentle in applying eye creams. However, if you have a hard time being gentle on your (eye) skin, you could try using this eye roller.

Expiry: Nov 2020, & Dec 2020
Description: These lip and cheek tints make the lip and cheek come alive while moisturizing the lips and stimulating the production of collagen.
Key Ingredients: Aloe vera extract, hyaluronic acid, citrus junos seed extract, anise fruit extract, and grapefruit seed extract.
Shades I Got: Love letter, Tan Brown, Tramp, Merlot, Heart, Cherry Pink, and Christmas Red.
Review: These lip stains are pretty good. The original price itself is pretty affordable. It stains pretty well. I tried running the lip swatches on my arm through running water but a lot of colors still remained despite all the rubbing I did. Even micellar water had a hard time washing off the lip stains.
Currently, only the skin clearance sale is available on Skin Genie's Shopee account. That was also the case when I first stumbled upon their clearance sale. However, if you take the time to revisit their Shopee like I did, you'll probably get lucky and find available stocks.
The reason why it's so cheap is that they are expiring soon. However, there are options where you can choose from August/September or October/November/December. Of course, the latter is more expensive by a bit. For example, the Aug/Sept would be Php5 while the Oct/Nov/Dec would be Php10. I got lucky with the Bubble Mask because I got an expiry date of January 2021.
