Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner, Moisture Serum & Nutrition Cream Review

DEAR DREAMERS
When it comes to minimalist beauty, Pyunkang Yul takes the cake in both minimalistic packaging and ingredients. Pyunkang Yul embodies their 40-year heritage in every product down to each ingredient, utilizing only essential ingredients harvested from nature.

About Pyunkang Yul
Inheriting the medicinal ideology from Pyunkang Korean Medicine Hospital, Pyunkang Yul is an oriental medicinal skin therapy that carries the philosophy of curing the root cause rather than symptom alleviation. Their hospital has earned an unrivaled reputation for treating sensitive skin ailments.

Natural and Minimal Ingredients
One of the things I really love about Pyunkang Yul is that they have removed chemical substances that don’t really help with keeping your skin healthy such substances that are there for the purpose of fragrance, color, and special texture.

Pyunkang Yul Skincare Lines
Basic Line: daily skin care for sensitive and troubled skin.
Ato Line: specialized skin care for special skin conditions such as atopic dermatitis and infant skin.
Therapy Line: skincare line with healthy and luxurious fragrance for body care at home to relax the skin.
Ane Line: specialized skin care line for skin with acne.

Milk Vetch Root Extract
The three Pyunkang Yul products contain isoflavonoids that infiltrate deep into the skin. It has a strong antioxidation effect to improve skin elasticity and shine.

Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner
Containing only 7 essential ingredients, the Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner is slightly more viscous than your usual toner. It has an essence-like dense texture which makes it neither watery nor light. Leaving my skin feeling cool and slightly moisturized, I’m amazed at how my skin is able to absorb it quickly which makes layering this toner easy.

Pyunkang Yul Moisture Serum
Containing only 15 essential ingredients, the Pyunkang Yul Moisture Serum contains olive oil for natural moisture and to calm the skin. It has an opaque, milky appearance and it doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky and it’s not greasy either. My skin does feel very nourished after one use and areas with dry, patchy skin are immediately left looking moisturized.

Pyunkang Yul Nutrition Cream
With shea butter for natural moisture and macadamia seed oil for an anti-oxidation effect, the Pyunkang Yul Nutrition Cream is supposed to provide long-lasting moisture all day long. I have acne-prone, oily skin so I tend to avoid creams with the exception of light creams. Another exception is when the weather gets colder and I find my skin feeling drier which is the case right now. With creams, I usually apply a thin layer on the first use to check if it will clog my pores. The Pyunkang Yul Nutrition Cream didn’t clog my pores so I used it a little bit more liberally on my second use and still no clogged pores in sight.

With a feeling that doesn’t seem heavy, this cream is lighter than most creams yet it can provide intense moisturization. It does leave the skin looking shiny but not in a greasy way.

I botched up the lip gradient look this time lol.
