SAMGYUPSAL AND BUFFET FOR P299 AT MOKJA KOREAN RESTAURANT

DEAR DREAMERS
Mokja means let’s eat in Korean. When we hear that phrase it is usually in an inviting tone and Mokja Korean restaurant gives off the same inviting tone.

Mokja is a Korean restaurant which opened its doors last 2016. They are known for their Korean barbecue but they also serve a la carte dishes. We went to Mokja with my relatives a couple of days ago, after paying our respects to my grandparents.

Their chef has worked in a Korean kitchen for 15 years so I have high expectations for their food.

INTERIOR
The interior is simple and neat, allowing customers to enjoyable focus on their food. I am thankful that they had an exhaust for every table since the smoke might have bothered my baby.

FOOD
Even with just the samgyupsal, it would be enough to leave me satisfied especially since it comes with the unlimited side dishes. Having the unlimited side dishes eliminates the umay factor thus allowing me to enjoy my meal at Mokja to the fullest.

OVERALL
The food is really good and surprisingly affordable. At first, I thought that the buffet would be pricey but P299 is really affordable for the unlimited samgyupsal with buffet. It’s no wonder the place is always packed even when they just opened in the afternoon. My only complaint is that the service is kind of slow but other than that, I have no qualms. It is definitely something I would go back for.

LOCATION
Mokja is located at the third floor of 80 Maginhawa Street, Teachers Village, Quezon City. They are right across Crazy Katsu.

OPERATING HOURS
Mondays to Sundays, 12pm - 10pm.
