A'PIEU Raspberry Vinegar Hair Shampoo Review

DEAR DREAMERS
I used to be wary of using vinegar on my hair despite knowing about its numerous benefits for the hair because I didn't want my hair to smell like vinegar. After trying out the CP-1 Raspberry Hair Treatment Vinegar and loving it, I figured I was ready to give another raspberry vinegar hair product a try.

On my No Brand Red Algae Hair Treatment review, I shared how my hair had been feeling too squeaky clean lately. Using the treatment helped the tips of my hair to improve but since it's not supposed to be used on the roots of the hair, I had to find an alternative.

I've used a raspberry vinegar hair treatment before by a different brand so I'm all too aware of the wonders a hair product utilizing vinegar could do.

Ingredients
Vinegar: Balances the oil-to-moisture levels of the scalp.
Rubus Idaeus (Raspberry) Fruit Extract: Contains antioxidants and vitamins to nourish the hair.
Fermented Herb Vinegar Complex: Clarifies and soothes the scalp.
Punica Granatum Extract: Soothes fatigued, stressed hair.

Scent
First off, the A'PIEU Raspberry Vinegar Hair Shampoo smells amazingly delicious, just like raspberries. I would love for my hair to carry the same scent but it only leaves a faint hint of the scent on my hair.

Consistency
It comes as a surprise to me that this shampoo's consistency was gel-like. I was actually expecting a more watery consistency, not that I'm complaining.

Review
From annoyingly squeaky clean, my hair slowly turned softer and softer after each use of the A'PIEU Raspberry Vinegar Hair Shampoo. The squeaky clean feeling didn't immediately disappear because my hair needed time to replenish the hair oils lost from using the wrong kind of shampoo for my hair. Once my hair regained its optimal state, using the shampoo on a daily basis has kept my hair grease-free without stripping my hair of its much-needed hair oils. My hair definitely looks more nourished after using the shampoo.

The only thing I didn’t like about this shampoo is that it has SLS, I would love it more if it had no sulfates since I don’t need the feeling of a rich lather to think that my hair has been cleaned.

Price
I bought this shampoo at Althea and at first, I thought that P730 was a bit pricey for a shampoo, especially since the rest of A'PIEU's line of raspberry vinegar hair products was sold for around half the price. However, seeing as the shampoo was 500mL, I figured that it would be worth the buy since it would last quite a while.
