Innisfree Haul & Mini Reviews

DEAR DREAMERS
I recently shared my Innisfree haul on Instagram and today I’ll be sharing my mini reviews on three of the Innisfree products. For the hair serums, I got recommendations from the staff at Innisfree. However, at that time, I wasn’t sure if what they recommended was the right fit for my hair. One of the hair serums was aimed for permed and curly hair. I don’t have permed hair and my hair is not that curly either, maybe slightly curly.

Innisfree My Hair Recipe Moisturizing Oil Serum
Made for: Dry hair
Key Ingredients: Jeju Soybean Complex, Jeju Camellia Synergy Complex (nourishes the hair), and Jeju Green Tea (deeply hydrates the hair).
Review:  The person assisting me recommended that I get this one but I probably should have just trusted my guts. Looking back, what I should have gotten should have probably been their other serum which was for damaged hair. The ends of my hair looked dry because it was damaged from a salon I went to that probably mixed hair color with a little bleach. The top part looked fine but the bottom part looked really. Using this serum didn’t make much of a difference for the ends of my hair. It looked shiny, it smelled good too. However, as for my overall hair condition, it didn’t do much to improve the condition. It was sort of a band-aid solution, which was fine with me, at least it works.

Innisfree My Hair Recipe Curl Up Styling Serum
Price: P790
Made for: Permed and curly hair
Key Ingredients: Jeju Soybean Complex, Soybean Protein, and Apple Vinegar.
Honestly, I didn’t know what I should get from Innisfree when it came to hair care, so I just trusted the Innisfree staff’s recommendation. I told them that I didn’t have permed hair, my hair was naturally curly. My hair was kind of weird, it was curly at the front and straight at the back which was why people would assume that I have curly hair when my hair is tied up in a bun. I told them that I planned to curl my hair using a curling iron so I needed a heat protectant.

Review: If you’ve seen my P299 Automatic Hair Curler Review, then you probably saw that my curls looked sleek and neat, shiny even. I have this styling serum to thank. I applied more styling serum on the ends of my hair which explains why the midsections of my hair didn’t look as lustrous as the ends of my hair. Although the instructions state that I should use 2 to 3 pumps, I’ll probably use more of it next time since my hair is long.

Innisfree Pore Blur Primer
Its description sounded promising, it is formulated with mild ingredients while claiming to create a silky smooth makeup finish with its pore-blurring effect suitable even for acne-prone skin.

Non-comedogenic test completed: Can be used on skin with blemishes/acne.
8-free: Free from animal ingredients, mineral oil, synthetic pigments, polyacrylamide, imidazolidinyl urea, triethanolamine, silicon oil, and talc.

Review: For a primer, it's pretty good. The area where I applied the Innisfree Pore Blur Primer was smoother and had a matte effect, it made my skin feel like matte. I also applied it on a part of my face, unfortunately, it doesn't really do much to blur my huge pores. However, the spot which had the primer was a lot less greasy and the surface felt more even.

As for the Innisfree Green Tea Cleansing Oil, I made a separate review for it, mostly because I had a lot to say about it. Read my Innisfree Green Tea Cleansing Oil Review.
