VT Cosmetics Progloss Foam Cleanser and Sleeping Mask Review

As I've mentioned in my VT x BTS makeup review, I'll be reviewing two products from the VT Cosmetics Progloss line. Featuring VT Cosmetics trademarked Gold Honey-Benone combination, the Progloss line comes in beautiful gold packaging fit for a queen, a queen bee to be exact.

Gold Honey-Benone
Gold Honey-Benone is the trademarked formulation of gold, honey extract, and Idebenone which promises to revitalize the skin for a brighter and smoother complexion. It also promises an intense moisture and nutrition boost for lasting hydration and antioxidant protection.

Gold: Repairs skin damage, gives radiance and keeps the skin healthy.
Honey Extract: Revitalizes nutrient-depleted skin and gives the skin a radiant complexion.
Idebenone (Hydroxydecyl Ubiquinone & Hydrogenated Lecithin): Nourishes the skin and protects the skin from external irritants.

Progloss Foam Cleanser
Features: Gentle skincare, rich cream foam texture, and mild cleansing.

Key Ingredients: Gold Honey-Benone, Propolis Extract, Chamomilla Recutita Flower Extract, Royal Jelly Extract, and Calophyllum Inophyllum Seed Oil.

Review: Just to let you know, I hardly use cleansing foams because cleansing oils are what works best for my skin. Of course, I tried out this cleansing foam a couple times to see how it performs. I like how it leaves my skin clean and looking fresh. It leaves my skin clean and oil-free without letting it feel tight, meaning it doesn't strip my skin of its natural moisture.

True to its claims, it does feel rich and creamy, you can even use it without wetting your skin first but since I prefer applying less friction to my skin, I always wet my skin with water first.

Just a precaution, if you're using strong chemical exfoliators, it's better to do a patch test first since this foam cleanser also contains acids such as salicylic acid (BHA). You wouldn't want to over-exfoliate after all. I think this cleanser would be enough for exfoliation if you use it daily.

PROGLOSS Sleeping Mask
Features: Revitalizes the skin, improves elasticity, nourishes the skin, and delivers intensive moisture.

Key Ingredients: Gold Honey-Benone, Propolis Extract, Royal Jelly Extract, Bee Pollen Extract, and Cocoa Seed Extract

Review: It has a gel-like texture, I like how it's not sticky at all and how you can see its tiny gold flakes. Less than half of the packet of the sleeping mask can actually cover the entire face but since I want a thicker application, I used up the entire packet. With sleeping masks, I prefer laying it on thick to make sure an ample amount of the sleeping mask stays on my skin even if I move around in my sleep. When I woke up from my 8-hour sleep, there was still a thin layer of the product on top of my skin. My skin looked super moisturized and my laugh lines looked a lot less obvious.

Maybe it's from the stress or from the cold weather, or maybe both, but my skin has been feeling a lot less hydrated recently. When I wake up from my sleep to go on bathroom breaks I find myself applying moisturizers on areas that feel dry. However, thanks to this sleeping mask, I can skip all that and just go on sleeping since this sleeping mask keeps my skin hydrated all night long.
