Licorne Vegan Serum, Ampoule and Eye Cream Review

DEAR DREAMERS
Licorne (which means unicorn in French) is a Korean cosmetics brand with a French motif that features vegan skincare that is light on the skin.

I cannot help but gush over the simple yet pretty packaging of Licorne's skincare products. The frosted glass packaging is a nice touch.

Licorne Vegan Cactus Deep Moist Serum
Key Ingredients: Cactus Extract and Ceramide.

Review: With a gel-like appearance, the Licorne Vegan Cactus Deep Moist Serum is actually quite light and not that viscous. It’s really quick to be absorbed by my skin, it doesn’t feel sticky or greasy at all. At first glance, I thought that there’s hardly any difference after applying this serum, but upon closer inspection, I can feel that my skin seems slightly more moist and more hydrated after applying this serum.

Licorne Vegan Rice Ampoule
Key Ingredients: Rice Bran Water Extract, AHA, and PHA.

Review: Like the serum, the Licorne Vegan Rice Ampoule is light and gel-like. It’s also really to be absorbed by my skin, it also doesn’t feel sticky or greasy. It leaves my skin lightly hydrated. Similar to the serum, this ampoule leaves no trace so it’s great for achieving matte look, especially if you have oily skin like me.

Licorne Vegan Rice Eye Cream
Key Ingredients: Shea Butter, Rice Bran Extract, AHA, and PHA.
Review: Thick and dense, I love the buttery texture of the Licorne Vegan Rice Eye Cream. Hands down, the cream is my favorite among the three Licourne products. Despite feeling thick and heavy on my skin, this cream didn’t clog my pores. It also doesn’t feel sticky and it doesn’t feel greasy at all, I like how it leaves my skin looking really dewy. The dewiness is only temporary though, after 10 minutes, my skin appeared to have a matte finish.

The reason why I really like this cream is because I applied it on my skin when it was feeling irritated from external pollutants, my skin’s barrier was already weakened. Thanks to the Licorne Vegan Rice Eye Cream, my skin felt soothed and when I woke up the next day, my skin was no longer red and the tiny bumps were gone. It was also then that I realized that this was an eye cream and not a cream for the whole face (lol).

I really loved it as a cream for the whole face but as an eye creams, I prefer my eye creams to have a dewy finish that lasts longer on my eye area. If you're not into the dewy finish and prefer your eye creams to have a matte finish, then the Licorne Vegan Rice Eye Cream is the eye cream for you.
