A GLIMPSE OF WHAT’S TO COME & GUM ALIVE WEEK 2 & 3 WINNERS
I hope you are all doing well! If you have been following my social media accounts, you might be aware by now that I was admitted at the hospital. No, I have not yet given birth and thankfully so. The reason why for my admission was because my cervix had already been dilated by 3 centimeters and I was only around 34 weeks pregnant at that time! My OB was afraid that I might be in danger of preterm labor, I contacted her two days prior to my admission, I told her I was experiencing pain and contractions.
Thankfully, my OB allowed me to be discharged from the hospital, with the condition that I would be placed under strict bed rest. I named this post “A Glimpse of What’s to Come” because I practically had a sneak peak, an expensive “sneak peak”, of what would happen when I go into labor. There were so many things that I did not expect, like having to pee in a bedpan while waiting for hours to go into active labor like the other pregnant women who were with me at the labor room. Hopefully, this experience will make me more prepared for when I actually go into labor.
Unfortunately, I was not able to use my iConnex Healthcare card. I would have probably saved a lot on my hospital bill. Once, I do get the chance to use it, I will share my experience with you because it’s really something that can save a lot of money when it comes to getting quality health care. I feel that now that I have a family of my own, it was time to consider and plan for these matters.
As for my outfit post, this was taken after my dining experience at Vibe Cafe at BGC. I was unaware that I was already pregnant at that time, which probably explains a lot why I was picky at that time and why smelly things bothered me. At that time, I kept complaining about how I hated a certain smell and Isaac kept telling me that he could not smell what I was smelling. Anyway, I really loved this top I got at Divisoria, it’s super cute and has a really soft fabric! Getting it for P200 was really a steal but my problem with it was that it was more of a crop top when I wear it and I am really shy when it comes to exposing my chubby belly. Well, I thought I was getting chubby, but in reality, I was already pregnant. Good thing, I had my pink high waisted chiffon skirt to pair it with.
